Ein lehmiger und kalkhaltiger Boden versorgt die Reben ausreichend mit Mineralstoffen. Ein geringer Ertrag von 4.000 kg Trauben\/ha und zwei verschiedene Erntetermine sind der Grund f\u00fcr seine Vielschichtigkeit. Zwei Drittel der Menge wurden sehr reif geerntet. Ein Drittel wurde einen Monat darauf, als Sp\u00e4tlese mit einem sehr hohen Mostgewicht geerntet, konnte nicht mehr vollst\u00e4ndig vergoren werden und verleiht somit dem Wein seinen nat\u00fcrlichen Restzucker, seine gro\u00dfe F\u00fclle und Dichte sowie seine Komplexit\u00e4t.
