Das Weingut befindet sich auf einem angeschwemmten Ger\u00f6ll und Sandschuttkegel des Flusses Talfer. Der hohe Mineralgehalt des Bodens verleiht dem Wein eine besondere Note und seine Langlebigkeit. Die Rebst\u00f6cke sind durchschnittlich 30 Jahre alt und der Ertrag liegt bei ca. 6.000 kg\/ha.
